Comprehensive research on child development has been conducted since 2014 at intervals of 4-5 years, and the third stage of the study is being carried out by improving the research methods based on previous results. This time, we are presenting the results for one province in comparison with the previous study. The comprehensive study on child development was examined through three components (domains): cognition, socialization, and physical development. The age of 0-1 year is considered the initial stage of rapid growth, 1-3 years as a period of declining rapid physical growth, and 4-7 years as the second stage of rapid growth per year on average. Among the children included in the study, 15.9% were in their first year, 33.7% in their second year, 27.4% in their third year, and 23.0% in their fourth year attending early childhood education (ECE). Of the children who participated, 88.9% live at home, while 11.1% live with grandparents. Among children attending ECE, 48.8% live 500 meters to 1 kilometer from their kindergarten, 38.1% live 1-3 kilometers away, and 11.1% live more than 3 kilometers away.
